SARAJEVO: Drive-in coronavirus testing begins

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The drive-in coronavirus testing point located in the parking lot near the Suada and Olga bridge begins its work today. The point will be managed by the Public Institution "Health Center", and the working hours of the point will be from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, every day of the week.

"The point is exclusively drive-in, and patient testing will only be performed with an e-referral from a family doctor," stated the Public Institution Health Center KS.

All organizational units of this public institution will be involved in the work at the Vrbanja point.

The already established points located within organizational units and Covid clinics will also continue their work. Their work will continue according to the already established working hours.

At the end of January this year, the KS Government tasked the competent ministries, public, and health institutions in the Canton to carry out activities aimed at opening this point, which is the first of its kind in the Sarajevo Canton since the beginning of the pandemic. 

At 12:00 PM, the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Edin Forto and the Minister of Health of KS Haris Vranić will visit the drive-in coronavirus testing point together with Muhamed Ahmić, Director of the Public Institution Health Center KS.
