Sanski Most: Driver hits young man and woman with car, then curses Alija saying "This is Serbia"

Ermin Karić from Sanski Most is still in shock after a traffic accident that occurred in the center of the town on the Sana river last night. A drunk driver literally ran over Ermin's son and his girlfriend who were riding a motorcycle, and then got out of the car and started insulting them on a nationalistic basis, writes the Patria News Agency.

- Last night around 7 PM, my son and his girlfriend were riding their motorcycle slowly in the very center of town, as it is known that no one drives fast there. Suddenly, he saw a grey Passat 4 station wagon driving abnormally fast and in their lane. My son somehow managed to move aside a bit, but the Passat driver was driving over 80 km/h, even though the limit is 40, and unfortunately, he couldn't avoid them, says a visibly shaken Ermin, adding:

- Amel and Smaila were thrown into the air and fell on the asphalt. But that wasn't enough for him, so he got out of the car, started cursing them and the citizens who were present. He took off his t-shirt that read "Chetnik Ravna Gora Movement" and the 4S symbol, threw it at Amel and Smaila, and started telling them: "This is Serbia", "I can afford to pay for this", he cursed Alija, the country. After that, he got into the car and tried to escape, but he couldn't because he got a flat tire. Citizens held him until the police arrived.

The Sanski Most police conducted an investigation, and after receiving the report from the hospital, they did not call the duty prosecutor to the scene.

- Smaila was released from the hospital immediately; she sustained blows to her ribs and leg. My Amel was kept for observation because they fear, God forbid, internal bleeding. I don't know the name of that drunk young man, he's about 20 years old. I know they were drinking all day in front of the church, some celebration was being held, some singer called Knindža was singing for them, and the police were providing security for the celebration, Ermin tells us.
