Serbian champion in circuit racing, forty-year-old Draženko Tintor, died today at the Open Motorcycle Championship in Zalužani, near Banja Luka. Tintor won the first race, and after falling off his BMW motorcycle in the second race, he was taken to the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka, where he died, writes Patria.
The investigation was carried out by the duty prosecutor of the Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor's Office, Branko Bjelajac, and members of the Laktaši Police Station. The prosecutor ordered all investigative actions to be carried out, as well as an expert examination of the motorcycle, to determine the exact cause of the traffic accident. An autopsy of the deceased was also ordered, which will be performed at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.
The Open Championship in the "Road Racing" discipline was interrupted after this accident.
