A few days ago, the current mayor of Sarajevo's Stari Grad municipality and independent candidate for mayor, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, warned the public about the trend of illegal advertising on the territory of this municipality.

- None of those whose posters are being stuck on lampposts, trees, or even placed in the main street through Stari Grad have submitted a request to the municipal services for a permit. This means they have no intention of paying for the use of public space. SDA Stari Grad is leading in this regard. The municipal inspection is constantly in the field, but they cannot finish the job on their own, therefore I expect the Cantonal and Federal inspectorates to get involved in these illegalities, says Hadžibajrić.

Thus, Safvet-beg Bašagić street, in the heart of Baščaršija, dawned all green this morning.

SDA candidates for the Municipal Council Stari Grad made sure that their posters, so-called sandwiches, were placed at the top of the lampposts.
