Only two parties in Serbia above the election threshold, Vučić the absolute ruler

BELGRADE, (Patria) - If parliamentary elections in Serbia were held on Sunday, Aleksandar Vučić's SNS would win 55.3% of the votes, and only SPS with 9.4 percent support would cross the threshold, according to a poll conducted by the agency Faktor Plus.

The Democratic Party would win 3.6 percent, the People's Party 3.5, the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia 3.3, and Dveri three percent of the votes, Beta reports.

Followed by the Serbian Radical Party with 2.7 percent of the votes, the Social Democratic Party of Serbia with 2.5, the Serbian People's Party with 1.7, the Movement of Free Citizens 1.6, and the Democratic Party of Serbia with 1.3 percent support.

About 45 percent of citizens would go to the polls if elections were held on Sunday, 34 percent would not, and 21 percent of respondents have no opinion.

The majority of citizens, 63 percent of them, believe that a frozen conflict is currently the best development for Kosovo, while 36 percent of respondents believe that Serbia should use the army if Albanians occupy the north of Kosovo.

The survey was conducted from June 1 to 7 in the territory of central Serbia without Kosovo and Metohija, on a sample of 1,200 respondents, Faktor Plus said.
