Croatian Parliament ratified North Macedonia's entry into NATO

ZAGREB, (Patria) - The Croatian Parliament, with 116 votes 'for' and two 'against', today confirmed the protocol to the North Atlantic Treaty on the accession of the Republic of North Macedonia to NATO, making Croatia among the first countries to ratify the entry of that country into the North Atlantic military-political alliance.

A high-ranking North Macedonian state delegation also followed the vote in the parliamentary hall, and the Speaker of Parliament Gordan Jandroković congratulated them on the confirmed protocol for NATO entry and announced that the Croatian Government would continue to provide support to North Macedonia on its path to EU membership.

- I congratulate the Republic of North Macedonia on its NATO membership and I can tell you on behalf of the representatives who supported today's decision that the Republic of Croatia will provide you with support on your path to the EU - he said.
