Parents of murdered children gathered in front of 'Vladislav Ribnikar' school, demanding greater student safety in schools

(Patria) - Parents of children murdered in the massacre at "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School in Belgrade on May 3rd, as well as those whose children attend the school, gathered on Saturday at noon in front of the school entrance.

As they stated at the protest rally - they are seeking justice for the victims of the May tragedies and greater safety for children in all schools. The parents of the victims are appealing for an end to false bomb threats in schools.

In protest, the gathered individuals painted the word "school" written on the asphalt grey.

At "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School, a student of that school, K. K., murdered nine students and a security guard on May 3rd, and wounded five students and a teacher.

K. K. was arrested after the murders, but cannot be held criminally responsible, as he was 13 years old at the time of the commission of the crime. The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against his parents.
