Reisu-l-ulema Kavazović: The only legal Islamic Community in Serbia is the one headed by ef. Dudić

The Council of Muftis reminds all Muslims in Sandžak and Serbia that there is only one traditional legal and legitimate Islamic Community headed by the President of the Meshihat, Mufti dr. Mevlud-ef. Dudić, with its headquarters in Novi Pazar, it was announced from the Rijasat of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Patria reports.

At the session of the Council of Muftis of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held in Srebrenica on June 30, a press release was issued in which the Council concludes that the only legal Islamic Community in Sandžak and Serbia is the one headed by Mufti Dudić. The press release is signed by Reisu-l-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović.

- The Council of Muftis expects the Government of the Republic of Serbia, by respecting the principle of equality established by the constitution, to finally put an end to the obstruction of the unity of the Islamic Community. We expect the state authorities of Serbia to approach this fact with cooperation and full respect - it is stated in the conclusion of the Council of Muftis, Patria reports.
