Reis Kavazović: Croatian President tells one story in Muslim countries, another elsewhere

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović, condemned the statement by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, who during an official visit to Israel, among other things, called Bosnia and Herzegovina "an unstable country" that is "under the control of militant Islam".

The head of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Muslims stated that "the Islamic Community will warn the world about her statements".

"This persona, who calls herself the President of Croatia, is already known for her views and attempts to dehumanize Muslims. She is a two-faced person, who tells one story in Muslim countries and another in Israel and other countries. She is a political opportunist and nothing more. She is the worst kind of politician. Most Croats and Bosniaks are aware of this. The international community is present in BiH, but also in Croatia, where neo-fascist forces are strengthening. Today, everything about everyone is known, no one is naive anymore," said Reis Kavazović in a statement for Radiosarajevo.ba.

During her visit to Israel, Grabar-Kitarović said that BiH has in a certain sense been taken over by people connected with Iran and terrorist organizations. Such statements by the Croatian President have been condemned by numerous officials in BiH, political parties, citizens, and condemnations and apologies have also been received from Croatia.
