Rama: Release of Kosovo police officers is a path towards de-escalation and dialogue

(Patria) - The release of three members of the Kosovo Special Police from custody in Serbia is good news because it opens the path towards de-escalation and dialogue, assessed Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Rama stated on Twitter that Serbia's decision to release the three special officers from custody was delayed, but that it puts an end to the "arbitrary deprivation of liberty of three individuals who have not committed any crime".


- The return of the Kosovo police officers to their homes is delayed, but nonetheless very good news. I am glad that the force of reason has prevailed over the reason of force - Rama said.
