(Patria) - Milan Radoičić, suspected of an armed attack in Banjska in northern Kosovo on September 24, has been released from custody.
A pre-trial judge of the Higher Court in Belgrade, after hearing the accused M.R. regarding the reasons for detention, rejected the proposal of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade to impose detention for legal reasons prescribed by Article 211, Paragraph 1, Point 1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, namely due to the risk of flight, the Higher Court in Belgrade announced.
At the same time, as stated, a measure prohibiting the accused M.R. from leaving his place of residence has been imposed, which prohibits him from leaving the territory of the Republic of Serbia without court approval and bans him from going to the territory of AP Kosovo and Metohija, and he has been ordered to report to the competent police station on the 1st and 15th of each month.
"Furthermore, the travel document of the accused M.R., namely the passport of the Republic of Serbia, has been temporarily confiscated, and the accused has been warned that detention may be imposed if he violates the imposed prohibitions and obligations. The accused M.R. is charged with the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production, Possession, Carrying, and Trafficking of Weapons and Explosive Materials under Article 348, Paragraphs 4 and 3 in conjunction with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Participating in a Group that Commits a Criminal Offense under Article 349, Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, and the criminal offense of Serious Offenses Against Public Safety under Article 288, Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 278, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code," the Court's decision states.
