Rada Trajković in hospital after detention at Serbia's border: Is this Vučić's revenge?

(Patria) - President of the European Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and advisor to the Kosovo Minister for Communities and Return Rada Trajković was transferred to the health center in Prokuplje on Friday evening, because her health condition suddenly worsened, her daughter announced on her Twitter profile.

"This message is written by Rada Trajković's daughter. Mom was just taken by ambulance to Prokuplje, because her health condition suddenly worsened. The examination shows early signs of pneumonia," was written on Rada Trajković's Twitter profile.

Rada Trajković had been at the administrative line since Thursday at 7:30 PM, where Serbian police stopped her while trying to return to Serbia.

"No statesman in the region carries out such mental torture against political dissidents. Here, you have won in something, you are the greatest anti-European barbarian on Balkan soil!" Trajković earlier addressed Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in a message on Twitter.

What does Vučić hold against her?

On Thursday, Serbian police first detained Rada Trajković at the Merdare crossing when entering Kosovo.

She then told N1 that police officers told her she was recorded and that her documents would be confiscated. After being detained for several hours, she was allowed to enter. However, on her return to Serbia, she was detained again. "I returned immediately from Priština because I have preparations for a family patron saint celebration," Rada Trajković told the N1 portal.

Rada Trajković has long opposed Vučić's policy towards Kosovo. After Vučić ordered Kosovo Serbs to withdraw from local institutions, Trajković, along with others, accepted to represent Serbs in Kosovo's institutions. Two weeks ago, Vučić joined a program on TV Pink by phone and called Rada Trajković "Serbian scum from the bottom of the barrel," adding that "there are no worse" than her and Nenad Rašić, whom she advises.

Rada Trajković, who has been expelled from media under Vučić's control, has been speaking about Kosovo from a different perspective for years, accusing Vučić of supporting criminal clans that destroy Serbs in Kosovo. Rada Trajković accuses Vučić's associates of being behind the liquidation of Oliver Ivanović, who was not loyal to Vučić's policy.

Rada Trajković gave her last interview about events in Kosovo to a television station from Podgorica, and on that occasion provided a different context for the latest events in Kosovo than what Belgrade media report.
