Head of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Mihailo: Bosnia and Herzegovina will be unified

Bosnia and Herzegovina will be a unified state. Live to see it – this was stated in Centralni dnevnik with Senad Hadžifejzović on FACE TV by the head of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Mihailo, reports Patria.

He said that "Bosnia is a state from Kulin Ban and good days," and that the current situation in BiH must be resolved. He is surprised, he says, by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who, supposedly, fights for Republika Srpska but bought an apartment in Belgrade for 700,000 euros.

Speaking about the Srebrenica genocide, Metropolitan Mihailo said that work should be done on reconciliation between people, but that there is no doubt that genocide happened in Srebrenica, and that he believes that many more than 8,000 people were killed in Srebrenica, as is currently presented, "even more than 10,000".

When asked why some do not want to acknowledge the genocide and pay their respects to the victims, at least formally, Mihailo said that it is known who the aggressor is, but "it is not profitable for the aggressor to admit genocide, because he would need a huge amount of money to pay for it," although, he added, "no one can pay for genocide".

He blamed the Serbian Orthodox Church for many misfortunes in the former Yugoslavia. Metropolitan Mihailo claims that the SOC is "in collusion with politics and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the ultimate goal of all of them is the creation of Greater Serbia.".

- Greater Serbia is still in the plan, but they will have to give up on it – said Metropolitan Mihailo.

- When Muslims were fleeing from BiH during the war, they were fleeing to Germany. Then Patriarch Pavle and Amfilohije Radović established a center there. In that center, Muslims were converted to Orthodoxy... I can document this – stated Metropolitan Mihailo, adding that it bothers him that the SOC declares some people saints, even though they killed people.

He also said that some Bosniaks are still under the influence of Serbs.
