(Patria) - According to Slovenian public television, an elderly man from the Metlika nursing home, who was being treated in Ljubljana, died after complications from the coronavirus infection.
This is a resident of the Nursing Home from Metlika, where the infection was diagnosed in seven residents and five employees of the Home.
In Metlika, the first infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed at the end of February by a doctor from the local health center who had contact with the elderly and staff of the local nursing home.
In Slovenia, 181 new coronavirus infections were confirmed by 2 PM, and 5369 tests were performed, the Government Communications Office announced.
