Protests in front of the Parliament of Montenegro due to the election of Andrija Mandić: Sovereignist parties called 'to gather'

(Patria) - A protest under the slogan “Na okup!” is underway in front of the Parliament of Montenegro, organized by the Forum of Free Citizens Luča with the support of DPS, SD, and LP.

The protest is organized due to the appointment of Andrija Mandić as the head of the Montenegrin parliament.

The gathered people are carrying Montenegrin flags and singing the Montenegrin anthem “Oj, svijetla majska zoro!”

Speech by Peđa Vušurović, from Forum Luča:

"Dear anti-fascists, citizens of Montenegro, all! To a peaceful and dignified gathering of those who are not afraid, who do not want an incident, neither imposed nor spontaneous, a gathering of those aware that we are all that they are not!

Welcome to the gathering in front of this today humiliated, and once high house, resurrected twenty years after the quisling decisions of the Podgorica Assembly, resurrected from the Montenegrin and Anti-Fascist Assembly of National Liberation!

In front of the house desired and built through two Uprisings. It is a monument to their heroism and the war merits of this country, reinforced by the shadows of 14,500 Montenegrin partisans, countless victims of fascist and Chetnik terror, and consecrated by their heroism!

I will ask you for a minute of silence in their honor, in honor of the bright tradition of this house, which is darkened today, as well as all the innocent victims of Russian aggression and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict… Glory to them…

In front of the House which, symbolically, morally, and politically, becomes a ruin with today's election! Today, the fifth column has triumphantly marched into the Security and Defense Council with the election of "brother Andrija". Facing the voivodeship – sabers and orders!

With today's election, it is clear to everyone, except those who keep their eyes wide shut in the country and abroad, that a bloody dagger has been plunged into the soft belly of Montenegro's Euro-Atlantic aspirations!

They won on August 30, with Dodik in the kolo, to Raković's notes and sworn to Vučić, they preserve the dark achievements of our downfall.

And we did, but on May 9, '45, on Victory Day and Europe Day, and we are gathered because both are ours! Both Victory and Europe! For the first, our grandfathers ask us, for the second, our children will ask us!

There is no Singaporean technique by which Swiss chocolate is instantly removed from a hat, let alone a Chetnik cap! More than from Serbian mantija – only the stench of darkness and persecution! From rotten compromises, the foundations of everything that constitutes Montenegro will rot, and with them its and our future.

He says his president is Putin. And we respond to that – Glory to Ukraine! And well done Boban, everyone like him and everyone with him! "And we are waiting for our land…"

Glory to Ukraine, for which Montenegro and its Cetinje, our eternal and unextinguished light, have walked and breathed for so many nights, for the Vojvoda an insignificant village in some backwater… under Lovćen, to which he has a long way to go anyway! So slowly, and who knows where and who knows when… just like the monument to King Aleksandar.

We stand here to raise our voice, clearly and without beating around the bush, as before Belveder, on the eve of the extradition of Jovan Mićović, to an even holier and older seat than this one, to say what and why, and to conclude why he can never be our president of this deceased Assembly – because he is Unworthy!

Representatives of Montenegrin sovereignist parties are also with us and by our side tonight: …

They were chosen because they are the most qualified to tell their word and stance to civic and anti-fascist Montenegro! It fell to them to sit across and see what they and we have to do! And civil society, of course, naturally the one outside the barracks of the "Vijesti" concern, will be as silent as it will be counted! You have the lists, but the census is difficult! Because we are here, on our own stone – at home, and only not for you! Always for a friend, and for you – never!

To begin with, for eternity and until the end – Boycott!

Unbreakable and unwavering, sober and aware, you who recognize and who have read! With this, our protest this evening is concluded, and the rebellion never…

On behalf of FSG “Luča”, I take this opportunity to once again wholeheartedly invite the sovereignist parties to gather and sincere unity, with a request to consider boycotting and withdrawing from the spilled institutions of this country, starting tonight from the humiliated house before us…"
