Protest in Belgrade: March concluded, demands announced, speeches underway

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The protest "All as one – 1 in 5 million" is underway in Belgrade, and public figures spoke at the rally in front of the National Assembly of Serbia.

This was followed by a protest march to the Government, Slavija, and back to the National Assembly, after which opposition leaders addressed the crowd. Police officers and MPs from the ruling majority are present in the National Assembly of Serbia, reports N1 Serbia.

Demands were read out for the formation of a joint commission of the government and opposition to define fair and honest election conditions, the election of a new composition of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media (REM), and the election of a technical and editorial team for Radio Television of Serbia and Radio Television of Vojvodina.

It was read that the representatives of the "One in five million" protest are ready for talks with the competent authorities and that they will delegate representatives for all three proposed working groups in the coming days.
