"1 in 5 Million" Protest: Vučić, You Won't Demotivate Us

(Patria) - Organizers of the "One in 5 Million" protest told Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that he will not succeed in demotivating them, and that they are coming to him so he can "hear them better".

Activist Valentina Reković said that the protest participants "reject the belated New Year's gift of three percent", referring to unofficial announcements that the election threshold will be reduced from five to three percent, writes Beta.

"You can give 0.1 or 15 percent, it doesn't matter to us, we don't need anything from you," Reković told the gathered citizens on the Plateau at the Faculty of Philosophy. 

She stated that the authorities will not succeed in demotivating the protest participants by lowering the election threshold or by the police stopping traffic long before the protest begins to prevent citizens from coming.

Reković also said that the Minister of Education Mladen Šarčević made another shameful statement that 'hologram teachers' will be introduced, while at the same time schools are leaking and students do not have toilets. 

Protest participants started a protest march, and at the beginning of the column, they are carrying a large banner that reads "Boycott".
