Average salary in Zagreb 1,256 euros

(Patria) - The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for January this year amounted to 1,256 euros, which is a nominal growth of 11 percent compared to January last year, according to data from the Statistics Department of the City Office for Strategic Planning and Development of the City of Zagreb.

Compared to the average monthly salary for January at the level of Croatia, which amounted to 1,094 euros, the average Zagreb net salary paid for that month was higher by 162 euros.

The highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for January 2023 was paid in the activity of crude oil and natural gas extraction, in the amount of 1,970 euros.

The lowest salary was paid in the production of leather and related products, in the amount of 706 euros.

The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for January 2023 amounted to 1,766 euros, which is a nominal growth of 11.9 percent compared to January 2022, reports SEEbiz.
