PRISHTINA RESPONDS Vučić manipulates the issue of recognition through the media

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has just entered the White House where talks between Kosovo and Serbia are taking place, mediated by the Donald Trump administration, and Serbian media have taken care to spread the news that something serious is happening to the Serbian head of state there and that the Americans are seeking recognition.

The American side said that the focus of the dialogue there is the economy and that politics will be set aside, writes the Prishtina-based Gazeta Express.

Vučić's most loyal man, Finance Minister Siniša Mali, said that his boss had a letter on the table at the White House meeting, the point of which implies mutual recognition between Serbia and Kosovo, and that there is pressure on President Vučić.

"We have never received a worse letter since the beginning of negotiations with Prishtina. "There were 16 points on the paper, of which point 10 meant mutual recognition," Mali told reporters, adding that there were very few economic topics.

Regarding this issue, in an interview with Express, former Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj said that Vučić manipulated the issue of recognition only to present that he carries a great burden of negotiations on his shoulders.
