SIPA members entered the Official Gazette of RS

(Patria) - Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina entered the premises of the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, after the institution published decrees on the promulgation of two controversial legal solutions, one by which the OHR is "kicked out" of the Official Gazette, but also the Law on Non-application of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- As the director of the Official Gazette, I informed them that I am the director, that I took office on July 9, and that it is my obligation to publish laws and decisions of the President of Republika Srpska, the National Assembly, the Government, and all other institutions of Republika Srpska, said Miloš Lukić, acting director of the Official Gazette.

Otherwise, the director's chair in the Official Gazette is one of the hottest in the country. Lukić was appointed to the position expressively, after Milka Devušić resigned from the position of acting director of the Official Gazette due to pressure regarding the non-publication of OHR decisions. Lukić was appointed at a telephone session of the Government held on Saturday, and took office on Sunday.

- On Sunday, we did our job as the Official Gazette, which is to publish all regulations that are sent to us. We received those letters, decrees from the President of Republika Srpska, the day before, said Lukić, emphasizing that he thinks the prosecutor's order to launch an investigation was made somewhat earlier, after the adoption of the laws in the National Assembly.

SIPA confirmed to Radio Free Europe that they are acting on the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office. The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina formed a team of three prosecutors on July 9 after an illegal decree by the president of that BiH entity, Milorad Dodik, was published in the Official Gazette of RS.
