The play "Othello" by Slovenian director Jernej Lorenci, based on the tragedy by William Shakespeare, will be performed on the stage of the National Theatre Sarajevo on Tuesday, March 4, 2013, by the Mestno gledališče ljubljansko (City Theatre Ljubljana) as part of the International Festival "Sarajevo Winter".
"Othello" is a timeless tragedy about love, jealousy, trust, loyalty, hypocrisy, the appearance of evil in all its forms, and about xenophobia and racism, which is particularly relevant today.
The play begins at 8:00 PM.
