SDP BiH President Nermin Nikšić congratulates Croatian and Slovenian social democrats

(Patria) - President of the Social Democratic Party of BiH Nermin Nikšić sent congratulations to the Social Democratic Party of Croatia and the Social Democratic Party of Slovenia, due to the results achieved by these parties in the elections for the European Parliament.

“I take this opportunity to congratulate the leaderships of your parties on the successful realization of electoral activities and the great victory of social democrats in Croatia and Slovenia. At a time of strengthening right-wing parties across Europe, as well as strengthening radical right-wing movements, your result gives us hope that the ideals of social democracy will never be defeated.

At a time when social democrats are attacked from all sides, your result is a barrier to such attacks and proof that the ideas of social democracy are universal and applicable everywhere. The election results have undoubtedly shown that politics advocating equal rights for all always has a chance among citizens. We hope that you will justify the trust of your citizens with your work, but also that you will help us, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through your work in the Parliament, to become part of the European family as soon as possible,” Nikšić stated.
