Popular Croatian presenter Šprajc: It's better if President Grabar-Kitarović sometimes doesn't speak

In a poll on RTL television broadcast on Wednesday evening, citizens of Croatia gave the most votes to an empty field for the most positive politician in the country, while Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović came in second, and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković third.

As many as 23 percent of voters in the RTL poll believe that no politician in Croatia is positive, while just under 16 percent of voters said that President Grabar-Kitarović is the most positive politician in Croatia.

Popular Croatian presenter Zoran Šprajc made a joke in last night's news broadcast, hosting an imaginary politician named 'Niko' as a guest.

"Yes, you, as Nobody, might feel like Nothing, but just imagine how all the others who thought they were Somebody until now feel?" Šprajc asked his imaginary guest.

"But how did you manage in such a relatively short time to achieve such a good political result, especially how did you manage to overtake the hitherto extremely popular president? Do you think the secret to your success is that, unlike her, you watch what you say, i.e., you say nothing? Well, the president perhaps says this and that, maybe it's better if she sometimes doesn't speak, but you've even overtaken the prime minister who speaks little and when he speaks, it's as if he says nothing? How did you manage to win?" Šprajc asked.

The President of Croatia has strained relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia in recent months, after continuously declaring BiH a haven for extremists, disregarding statements from official BiH institutions that no BiH citizen has gone to foreign battlefields for months.
