On rivers in Serbia, damages to embankments caused by floods in May 2014 are currently being repaired at 97 locations, reports the Patria News Agency.
These are all weak spots where the embankments could give way if heavy rains occur!
This is being warned by the Public Enterprise “Srbijavode”, indicating that work on the reconstruction has been completed at about 50 percent of the locations, while the complete remediation of the consequences of last year's floods should be finished by the end of May.
