Politics tailored to HDZ BiH: HNK Government gives more money to the City of Zagreb than to the Konjic hospital

MOSTAR, (Patria) - At the coordination meeting of the Government and the Civil Protection Headquarters of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton held on Thursday, a Conclusion was adopted that hospital institutions in HNK should immediately receive the amount of KM 583,333.33, namely: University Clinical Hospital Mostar KM 342,708.33, JU Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Safet Mujić" KM 155,750.00, and JU "General Hospital" Konjic KM 84,875.00.

The Government also made a Decision at the session to pay health centers in HNK the corresponding quarterly amount of a total of KM 417,000.00.

What is surprising is that a payment of KM 100,000 has already been made, which the Government approved for the purpose of providing one-time financial support to the Republic of Croatia – the City of Zagreb, affected by a devastating earthquake.

Although it should be helped in normal circumstances, it is unbelievable that the Konjic hospital and the city with the most coronavirus patients receive a smaller amount than the City of Zagreb.

Appeals are coming from the General Hospital in Konjic, given that they do not have enough tests, epidemiologists, or other equipment. With such a distribution of money, HDZ's policy only shows that one life is worth more than another. The distribution of money to the two Mostar hospitals is also surprising, as the SBK Mostar received double the amount of the other Mostar hospital, even though the entire maternity ward from SBK was transferred to the "Safet Mujić" hospital due to coronavirus.

The HNK Government is headed by Nevenko Herceg from HDZ BiH, and the Government also includes cadres from SDA.
