Epidemiological situation with coronavirus worsens at KBC Split, visits restricted

(Patria) - Due to the worsening epidemiological situation, i.e., the infection of 11 patients with COVID, visits to hospitalized patients are temporarily restricted at the Clinic for Internal Medicine of KBC Split at the Križine site, the hospital reported on Wednesday, Hina reports.

KBC states that there is no need for panic as it is not a large number of patients. Eleven of them are infected, six of whom are in the Infectious Diseases Department, four in Internal Medicine, and one patient in the Intensive Care Unit of the Clinic for Internal Medicine.

The patients were not hospitalized due to COVID, but due to other diagnoses, the hospital emphasizes, adding that the head of the Clinic, Daniela Marasović Krstulović, made such a decision for preventive reasons.
