Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, after meeting with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić, said that BiH is the number one foreign policy priority for Croatia, reports Patria.
- I say this with full responsibility. Especially when it comes to BiH's European path. We have shown how much can be helped when you are part of the EU and when you want to help BiH without any reservations, with the best intentions, and you are concretely helping BiH. We came as friends and with the ambition to achieve stable political cooperation in the time ahead. That is why we want the Government session to be a reference point in terms of agreements on future cooperation - Plenković said.
He said that he wants to help BiH's Euro-Atlantic path with all capacities.
- We also want to help the Euro-Atlantic path. We have a strong position and excellent experts, and in this way, we want to help BiH. At the same time, as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, I will naturally show special interest and care for the equality of all constituent peoples. Comprehensive cooperation will be to mutual satisfaction, and we want to contribute to quality cooperation.
Plenković emphasized that he had the opportunity to discuss Bosnia and Herzegovina's European perspective with EU officials. He said that Croatia is particularly interested in the equality of all peoples in BiH and that everything is being done transparently in this regard.
Plenković also emphasized that it is in Croatia's interest to resolve the problems in Mostar and Stolac concerning electoral processes as soon as possible. In this context, he added that it is important to avoid any form of outvoting, but that this remains an internal issue of BiH.
