(Patria) - Members of the collegia of the House of Peoples and the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina spoke today with the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, who is on an official visit to our country.
During an open discussion, the members of the collegia thanked him for the support and concrete steps that the Republic of Croatia is taking to accelerate Bosnia and Herzegovina's path to European Union membership.
It was emphasized that this is a crucial time in which Bosnia and Herzegovina needs to take steps that will bring it closer to EU membership. In this regard, the participants of today's meeting agreed that it is necessary to make maximum effort in the coming weeks to fulfill the remaining obligations important for Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path. At the same time, as stated, this would also fulfill the conditions necessary for opening negotiations, which would be a new significant chapter in BiH's path to EU membership.
Meeting with representatives of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly. We discussed the need for urgent adoption of additional laws for the earliest possible opening of BiH's accession negotiations with the 🇪🇺. I also emphasized the importance of a political agreement on the Election Law.
