(Patria) - NES representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Jasmin Emrić said that the new government in the Federation had not even been formed when it received a task from Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, whom he called the "boss" of the new FBiH Government, on what policy to pursue.
Emrić thus quoted Plenković when he recently stated that the parties that decided to form the government in the Federation must as soon as possible tackle the amendment of the electoral system and resolve, preferably independently, without the influence of the international community.
The NES representative said that this was precisely the order they received from "boss" Plenković.
"But that is not all, because boss Plenković wants to be clear, so they don't think about how, but do as they are told, so he orders the new government of the Federation: 'Once and for all' the 'absurd situation' must end where the Croatian representative in the BiH Presidency is elected by Bosniak votes and then he does not communicate with the Croatian authorities - boss Plenković commands them," said Emrić.
He said that Plenković forgot that a Croatian representative is not elected to the BiH Presidency.
"Instead, in accordance with Article V of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one Bosniak and one Croat are directly elected from the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one Serb is directly elected from the territory of the Republika Srpska. We will see how obedient the new government of the Federation is," concluded Emrić.
