Plenković: Construction of the Pelješac Bridge continues, I do not expect an interstate dispute with BiH

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said today that the construction of the Pelješac Bridge continues regardless of BiH's announcements that it will not allow construction before the border issue is resolved, Croatian media report, Patria agency reports.

- The government was quite clear. Not only is the construction project continuing, but we have also received non-refundable funds for it. Dialogue with neighboring countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, yes. If anything needs to be clarified to our neighbors, we will clarify it - said Plenković.

He added that the technical characteristics of the bridge allow harmless passage for all types of vessels that could go towards Neum. He emphasized that he does not expect any interstate dispute between Croatia and BiH over the Pelješac Bridge.
