Plenković praised Schmidt: He made brave decisions!

(Patria) - The Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, at the opening of the International Economy Fair in Mostar today, in his address, particularly praised Christian Schmidt for his interventions in the Constitution and the Election Law of BiH!?

"In my opinion, after Christian Schmidt's brave decisions, a framework is being created for the progress and deeper integration of BiH into the EU. Namely, for any progress, it is necessary for political institutions to ensure political stability. It is a prerequisite for all development," said Plenković.

Among other things, he emphasized that he believes it is very important for democratic institutions to be functional and reflect the will of the voters in the country.

"Precisely these major steps, in my opinion, send a clear signal to both the economy and all citizens of BiH that BiH is facing a period of more intensive and faster development. I say this with full conviction as the Prime Minister of Croatia for the seventh year. Croatia, precisely thanks to strong stability, has realized most of its strategic goals. Goals of strong economic growth, goals of supporting citizens during times of crisis. In this light, I also see the possibility of intensifying our cooperation. Croatia is an important strategic partner for BiH in both political and economic terms. We want the relationship to develop in partnership and for Croatian companies to continue doing quality business in the BiH market. Likewise, for BiH companies to do business in Croatia," said Plenković.
