Bosnia and Herzegovina's property in Croatia on the agenda of the PIC and BiH Presidency?

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The issue of Bosnia and Herzegovina's property in neighboring countries will be one of the topics at the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) session, the Patria agency has learned.

The Croatian Parliament recently adopted the Law on Management of State Property, which also states that Croatia can lease real estate owned by Bosnia and Herzegovina located on Croatian territory to a third party. These are properties owned by BiH companies, mostly defunct after the breakup of Yugoslavia. It is estimated that Bosnia and Herzegovina could lose hundreds of millions of KM worth of property due to Croatia's new law.

The issue of BiH's property in neighboring countries could also be raised during today's session of the BiH Presidency.

The BiH Council of Ministers previously confirmed that one of the items on the Council of Ministers' session agenda on Tuesday will be the Information on activities related to the protection of property and rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republic of Croatia.
