Božo Petrov, the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, who is on his first official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina today, said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is Croatia's foreign policy priority. Petrov said that Croatia believes BiH has great potential and therefore stands at its disposal through technical and political support.
- We are a strong voice in the EU for the integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Petrov said today in Sarajevo.
- The territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH are unquestionable. Any other form of policy can only cause instability. BiH is the key to the stability of the entire Southeast Europe. Croatia will be available to BiH as a partner in the way BiH requests - Petrov added.
He recalled that BiH and Croatia have a long shared history, which has unfortunately also been marked by tragic events. Not enough time has passed, he said, to forget that. However, Petrov added, BiH should know that it has a true friend in Croatia.
After Sarajevo, the delegation from Croatia will visit Vitez and Mostar, NAP reports.
