(Patria) - Director of the Office for Kosovo Petar Petković addressed Serbian media late last night at an emergency conference, following the arrival of Kosovo police in the north of Kosovo with the intention of establishing order.
"As we warned, Kurti continued with illegal and violent actions aimed at occupying the north of Kosovo and Metohija. After arresting wine and brandy and attacking the Petrović family, and after Kurti harassed our children in Leposavić.
About 300, 350 police officers, some with bulletproof vests, some members of ROSU with full combat equipment and armored vehicles, broke into the north of Kosovo and Metohija... Then they dispersed and blocked the entire Kosovska Mitrovica, and stationed themselves in mixed settlements in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
I will repeat, especially for those from the West, that the Albanian police from the south broke into the north of Kosovo and Metohija, even though this is contrary to the Brussels Agreement. Everyone knows this well, and everyone is playing dumb and allowing Kurti to carry out such actions aimed at burying the Brussels Agreement.
Now, bearing in mind that Kurti wants to provoke violence and expel Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, Belgrade will consider the return of up to 1,000 of our security forces to Kosovo and Metohija under Resolution 1244," said Petković.
He announced that Vučić will have meetings in the coming days, about which he will inform the public.
