(Patria) - The President of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, stated today that the Srebrenica genocide is the greatest war crime in Europe after World War II and a collective failure of the entire democratic world.
"Today we remember the Srebrenica genocide as the greatest war crime in Europe after World War II.
The mass execution of over eight thousand Bosniak Muslim men and children is a collective failure of the entire democratic world, which we must never forget", Pendarovski wrote on his Facebook profile.
He assessed that there can be no reconciliation as long as the truth is denied and as long as suffering and pain are not acknowledged.
"Respect for the victims and condolences to their families", Pendarovski conveyed.
