PDP to ask Cvijanović to declare Milanović persona non grata

(Patria) - The Presidency of the PDP will hold a session on Monday at which decisions and initiatives should be adopted addressed to institutions and the highest officials of Republika Srpska and at the state level, concerning the recent visit of Croatian President Zoran Milanović to Derventa and the decoration he awarded there to members of the 103rd HVO Brigade.

The PDP, among other things, will ask the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, to initiate in the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina that Zoran Milanović be declared persona non grata in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, at the upcoming session of the Presidency of the PDP, a decision is expected to be adopted by which this party will seek in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska the adoption of an appropriate resolution that would, firstly, prohibit all institutions and officials of Republika Srpska from having any contact with the current Croatian president.

At the same time, the PDP will ask the National Assembly to adopt a resolution banning the use of all public premises on the territory of Republika Srpska for Milanović.

During his recent visit to Derventa, the current President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, decorated the 103rd HVO Brigade.

Milanović's action sparked a wave of reactions and condemnations, especially among associations of war victims and veterans' organizations, since the location where the Croatian president awarded the decoration, according to victims' claims, is in the immediate vicinity of the former notorious camp in Derventa.
