Paranormal Phenomena in the Para-State Parliament: Treat as Enemy Forces All Who Deliver the State to Separatists!

Two phenomena I witnessed on Thursday, July 6, 2023, I saw for the first time in nearly 40 years of life. The apocalyptic storm that caught me while driving through Sarajevo resembled the American Katrina, and everyone who drove through the capital will surely confirm it was anything but pleasant. Because four-wheelers are not adapted to the needs of artificial lakes on Sarajevo's streets.

Just as parliamentary procedures are not adapted to separatist projects of liberals in radicals' suits. And that is the second phenomenon I witnessed at the end of the day of disasters.

I entered the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina a decade ago; I learned procedures, the Rules of Procedure, and what a journalist should pay attention to from the masters of parliamentary reporting. And I learned a lot. But everything I learned and everything I heard from parliamentarians on that gloomy crystal night for Bosnia and Herzegovina did not help me understand what kind of black hole had sucked us in.

We have seen all sorts of things through the history of the entity's Parliament, which meets in a bunker, but for the first time I saw that the structures of that house—the commission chairman and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Mladen Bošković—faked a session of the Commission for Elections and Appointments, and that Mirjana Marinković Lepić, the Speaker, although aware it was a forged document, repeated, "Conditions for continuing the emergency session are met, we continue."

Dodik is insolent and ready for anything in his separatism, but his Nenad Stevandić could have learned a lot from Marinković-Lepić last night. Especially when it comes to nullifying the parliamentary rights of deputies to respond when they raise a point of order.

But, in the agony for the annals of parliamentarism, Marinković-Lepić last night neutralized every attempt by common sense to reach her and explain the possible consequences. In short, we witnessed paranormal phenomena in the para-state Parliament of the FBiH!

It went roughly like this:

"Point of order, you are violating the Rules of Procedure, point such and such, this will go to the Constitutional Court…" Response from Marinković-Lepić: "Conditions are met, we continue the session;

"Point of order, a commission of 11 members cannot make a decision with five present." Response from Marinković-Lepić: "The commission has duly sent its report, conditions are met, we continue the session."
And so on ad infinitum. But, aside from the lack of basic knowledge of parliamentary procedures and deputies' rights, Marinković-Lepić, who comes from the supposedly liberal "Our Party," behaved like the far-right Maja Gojković, Vučić's whip for disobedient deputies in the Serbian Assembly. Liberalism in Marinković-Lepić's behavior completely evaporated and turned into an aggressive destructive campaign by those who, at any cost, want to finish the job for Čović regarding the appointment of Marin Vukoje to the Constitutional Court of BiH.

Therefore, the accusations by some media about the aggressiveness of opposition deputies are completely nonsensical. It was a dignified defense against a regime that apparently wants to show that by imposition it has become stronger than the state, its system, and procedures. And after today's press conferences, the situation became even more interesting. The media that turn on all cameras and screens when there are protests in Serbia, which they call a reasonable reaction of citizens, make a bogeyman out of the opposition's call in the FBiH, accusing that opposition of wanting to come to power through the people on the street.
The destructive campaign we witnessed last night in the FBiH Parliament is an alarm that must unite everything that remains outside the control of the US Embassy and the OHR as the designers of a government that wants to seal the fate of Bosnia and Herzegovina according to the plan on Franjo Tuđman's napkin.

We must no longer calculate with the strength and mechanisms of response. That response must be proportionate to the attack, whatever the cost. Because the price paid for survival and freedom surpasses everything else.

It is impossible to predict what arsenal of anti-state activity the parties of the troika gathered around the HDZ and SNSD will continue with, but it is quite clear that it will happen. Therefore, politicians who bear responsibility must be ready to retaliate as they did last night. However, the citizens of this state must also be vigilant, ready to once again defend the state from the streets. More massively, more decisively, and in cooperation with the political and academic community, clearly articulate demands.

The problems have begun, and this is certainly not the strongest blow that anti-state structures are planning. The truth is that we are in the most serious crisis since Dayton, but an even greater truth is that the coming days and months may bring crises that we should not have even mentioned in our worst forebodings.

I long ago noted the necessity of sleeping with one eye open. And the development of the situation shows that the pro-state forces and the citizens themselves have completely fallen asleep. Post-factum reaction only slows down, but does not stop the anti-state conglomerate of parties grouped into political units under the flag of the international community.

All of us who love this country must now make the first move, no matter how dangerous it seems to us. Because it is a dangerous time. It threatens the disappearance of both us and the state!
