
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Pope Francis arrived in Skopje this morning, and was traditionally welcomed at the airport with bread and salt.
The Pope was greeted by the President and Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov and Zoran Zaev, along with other representatives of the Government and the City of Skopje.
Pope Francis will first go to the presidential palace Villa Vodno, where a welcome reception has been organized, and later during his first visit to North Macedonia, he will celebrate Mass at the central square in Skopje, which is expected to be attended by more than 15,000 people.
