Dangerous trio in Subotica: Vučić, Orbán, and Dodik at István Pásztor's funeral

(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, attended the funeral of the President of the Vojvodina Assembly, István Pásztor, in Subotica.

The funeral was also attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Presidents of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, and Serbia, Vladimir Orlić, as well as numerous ministers of the Serbian Government, Vijesti reports.

Vučić stated that Pásztor's name will be recorded not only in Hungarian but also in Serbian textbooks. He did a lot for the relations between the two countries, he was a great leader not only of the Hungarian state but also of Serbia, said Vučić.

- He succeeded more than all the warriors and commanders, statesmen, and all those we often overestimated, while often underestimating great people like Pásztor. He was a man who introduced us to Viktor Orbán, a man who united the two largest parties in Serbia and Hungary - said Vučić.

- He was a man who worked on trust, always strong enough to protect the interests of both Hungarians and Serbs, but always smart enough to make compromises, as there is no progress or future without agreement - stated Vučić.

Previously, a memorial session was held in Novi Sad on the occasion of the death of the President of the Vojvodina Assembly, István Pásztor.

The President of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and leader of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians, István Pásztor, passed away on October 30th at the age of 68 after a serious illness, RTRs reports.

Dodik discussed cooperation with Orbán and Vučić, which he confirmed himself on platform X.
