SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Strong winds toppled trees and ripped off roofs in Zagreb overnight, and Croatian police warned citizens not to go outside unless absolutely necessary.
Wind gusts reached around 70 km/h, and the same speed was recorded this morning.
With a large number of branches and trees on the road, and electricity problems, public transport is experiencing difficulties.
The Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service has issued warnings for almost all of Croatia due to the possibility of strong winds and extreme rainfall.
Firefighters have their hands full removing fallen trees.
