(Patria) - Independent MP in the Serbian Parliament Aleksandar Olenik points out that he hopes the "For the Future of Montenegro" coalition will not be part of the new Montenegrin Government due to, as he says, the protection of Montenegro's national interest.
“It is not the job of the future government of Montenegro, nor of the current, illegal, technical Government, to try to be on good terms with Serbia, but to protect the interests of the citizens of Montenegro, to protect its sovereignty. In that regard, I hope that ZBCG will not be part of the new government, and thus I agree with Mandić for once, that they should not be, because if we look from the last parliamentary, through the presidential elections, Serbian nationalist parties coming from Montenegro to Belgrade for an opinion have a majority or primarily influence the policy of Montenegro, and thus its sovereignty is drastically called into question,” states Olenik.
Olenik notes that Montenegro's territorial integrity is not threatened, but that its sovereignty to make independent decisions is “dangerously threatened” by, as he says, official Belgrade.
