Facilitating border crossing for residents of the border areas of BiH, Serbia, and Montenegro

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at a session in Sarajevo, determined the Proposal for the basis for conducting negotiations and concluding the Agreement on Amendments to the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Montenegro on border crossings for border traffic.

- The Agreement on Amendments to the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Montenegro on border crossings for border traffic includes the establishment of joint border control, regulation of the border traffic regime which will enable simpler crossing of the state border for the population living in the border area of both countries.

The Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina will submit the Proposal for the basis to the Presidency of BiH for further procedure, with the proposal that the Minister of Security be designated as the signatory of the Agreement - it was announced after today's session of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
