I expect intensified cooperation between BiH and Serbia

On the occasion of the early elections in Serbia held on Sunday, the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegović, sent congratulations to Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) for their achieved result.

- I am convinced that the trust given by a large number of Serbian citizens to Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian Progressive Party means a vote for a democratic and pro-European Serbia. I hope that the new government of Serbia will continue with the policy of regional cooperation and mutual support on the path to membership in the European Union. The stability of the Western Balkans region is a key condition for a stronger economic recovery and attracting direct foreign investment. In this context, I expect intensified cooperation between the two countries, as well as the accelerated resolution of mutual open issues - it is stated in the statement from the Cabinet of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović.
