Marking 100 years since the Croatian Parliament recognized Islam as an equal religion

In Croatia, the 100th anniversary of the Croatian Parliament's recognition of Islam as an equal religion is being marked.

The commemoration began on April 22 in the "Vatroslav Lisinski" concert hall with a concert for tolerance, performed by the Zagreb Philharmonic, while a ceremonial session will be held in the Croatian Parliament on April 27, the day Islam was recognized 100 years ago.

A meeting of European Muslim leaders will be held in Zagreb, from which they wish to send a message and offer Croatia as a model for resolving the Muslim question, which, as recent events show, has not been well resolved in Europe.

Additionally, an academy will be held at the Croatian National Theatre, with the entire state leadership expected to attend, and on April 26 an exhibition of Muslim artists who have marked the art of Croatia and the world will open at the Mimara Museum. Furthermore, similar events will be held in all cities and Islamic communities in Croatia, along with two scientific symposia in Rijeka and Dubrovnik.
