New gathering in Belgrade scheduled for next Friday

(Patria) - The large protest "Serbia Against Violence" held on Friday evening in Belgrade ended after more than two hours with demands to stop the promotion of violence in the media and public space.

They also demanded the dismissal of the Council of the Regulatory Body for Electronic Media, as well as the closure of print media and tabloids that promote hatred and violence and continuously violate the journalistic code, and the revocation of national frequencies for television stations that promote violence, such as Pink and Happy TV.

During the protest, chants of "Serbia, Serbia", "Vučić, leave" and "Resignations, Resignations" were heard.

Citizens were called to gather again next Friday and come in front of the Serbian Parliament, where a session will be held to discuss the opposition's demands following the mass murders.

Tabloids controlled by the Serbian authorities completely falsely reported on the protests, downplaying the number of those gathered.
