(Patria) - Protests are being held in Kosovo today as well, but this time citizens have taken to the streets to express their dissatisfaction with the latest moves by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

Dissatisfied citizens in Kosovska Mitrovica have expressed distrust in the "Serbian List" and chanted against Vučić due to the recent arrests of several individuals for the unrest they caused during the protests of Serbs in northern Kosovo. They believe Vučić has not done enough to protect them.

A larger number of citizens gathered near the building where the leadership of the Serbian List is allegedly located. Several men resembling security guards stand at the entrance, claiming that the party leaders are not there.

The commissioner of the Movement for the Defense of Kosovo, Nebojša Jović, called for patience from the citizens, while demanding that the leaders of the Serbian List address them within half an hour. He also called for peace and for resolving the problematic situation in which Serbs in northern Kosovo find themselves.

Jović also called on the citizens present to organize a protest tomorrow in front of the Municipal Building of Kosovska Mitrovica instead of in Zvečan, where protests have been ongoing for days.

Jović also suggests that citizens bring temporary solutions for housing and jobs, stating that these are precisely the factors of instability, along with the political situation and the moves of Belgrade and Pristina.

Jović said that among those wearing masks are also those who are not criminals, but rather "honest," "brave young men," who hide their faces because they fear arrest. The situation in this part of the city is currently calm.
