New Interference from Serbia: Vulin Says They Are Moving Towards Complete Disenfranchisement of Republika Srpska

(Patria) - Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin assessed today that it is obvious there is a plan to "disenfranchise Republika Srpska by violating the Dayton Agreement and turn it into an empty shell".

"Any reduction, diminishment, or emptying of the capacities of Republika Srpska is a serious danger to the physical survival of the Serbian people. Not political, but physical survival," Vulin said for Pink television.

According to his assessment, a decision was first made that Republika Srpska has no right to its own date and its own holiday.

"Now you have made another decision by which you say 'agricultural land belongs to BiH'. The next decision being prepared is to annex all forests and all waters to BiH. There are no gold mines in Republika Srpska, but there is hydropower potential, there is the Drina and there are forests. These are the things that are the advantage of Republika Srpska. Now you will take those away too? How do you expect Republika Srpska to remain silent and watch all this?" Vulin said, as reported by Beta.

He reminded that the Party of Democratic Action at its congress several months ago adopted a platform in which the abolition of Republika Srpska is stated as a strategic goal.
