Nikšić sends congratulatory message to new President of North Macedonia

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - President of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia and President of SDSM Zoran Zaev.

„I take this opportunity to congratulate you, the party leadership and the entire Social Democratic Union on the successful implementation of election activities and the great victory of the Social Democrats, the great victory of comrade Stevo Pendarovski, the president of all citizens of North Macedonia. The waves of positive changes in your country are unstoppable, the citizens recognize that and it is quite clear. Your ability, your strength, perseverance and unity can no longer be undermined, and that is a success to be emulated by all of us in the region.

I believe that soon, when North Macedonia officially gets a new president, NATO and the EU will be enriched with you as a member state. Your path and successes, which are the result of political and democratic struggle for justice and the future of the country, are a model for all social democrats. Everything you do gives us additional strength to overcome those who work against the interests of all citizens. It has undoubtedly been shown that politics, which advocates equal rights for all, has a chance when fear is cast aside and when a system is created in which election fraud and theft are not possible. I express satisfaction with the fact that our two parties have good relations and I look forward to future cooperation“, states the congratulatory message of the President of SDP BiH.
