It seems that after the corona and those unbearable mandatory masks, a new 'normal' has arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This time, however, we are solely to blame because we have allowed ourselves a new epidemic. This time, this new 'normal' is far more unbearable. It's not contagious, but it is dangerous. But it is also eradicable, and much easier than the coronavirus, if only one knew how.
The Serb-nationalism and Chetnik-like behavior of the BiH Security Minister Nenad Nešić, who is everything but that, partly because he is not capable of performing such an important function competently, has reached its peak. He is arrogant, insolent, rude, but he can afford to be. There is still no reaction from the authorities, but we are already used to that. In just a few months, Nenad Nešić has become famous as a record holder for raising three fingers in the public space of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nenad does not choose the place, whether it's in front of the BiH Parliament, at a session of the BiH Council of Ministers, in the Federal Television studio, or in front of a group of journalists.
Justifying the scandalous act of Sarajevo University students, who glorified convicted war criminals with three raised fingers on social media and were subsequently rewarded by Belgrade with the continuation of their education, Nešić said at a press conference that he saw nothing wrong with it. And then he became even more brazen, and with three raised fingers on both hands, he proudly declared: "Here, Nešić will raise three fingers. Here, go ahead, open a case against me!".
Trojka still sees nothing wrong with the Serb-nationalism and Chetnik-like behavior of a man to whom they gave their vote so that, as a state minister, he would have the opportunity to come to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, take a salary from the state trough, and spit on everything that is Bosnian-Herzegovinian. We don't need any verbal condemnations from the Trojka members, which would in any case be just empty platitudes in which they call on their partners from RS to return to the right track, on which, let's be realistic, they have never been.
What is necessary is institutional action - either by the Bosnian-Herzegovinian judiciary or the dismissal of Nenad Nešić and his like, the enemies of our homeland. It is understandable, however, why Nikšić, Konaković, and Forto are not even considering such a move because they would displease the leader from Laktaši, who nominated Nešić. After all, the Trojka members have already promised Dodik that they will not raise issues on which they do not have a consensus. In addition, the Trojka wants to keep their positions without displeasing the other coalition partner, Dragan Čović, by easily overlooking the Ustaše-like behavior of his federal minister Sanja Vlaisavljević.
We won't touch Nenad, nor Sanja. Dodik is satisfied, Čović is satisfied, peace in Bosnia. This is roughly how the Trojka thinks. However, they are well aware, or at least they should be, that Bosnia is not peaceful at all, but rather quite turbulent, with the tendency of a tsunami to appear.
One of the three, the leader of the People and Justice party and the state Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmedin Konaković, recently stated about his colleague from the BiH Council of Ministers Nenad Nešić that he is the best cadre among the ministers from RS. And if he is the best, what are the others like...
Nešić complained that he is also one of those alleged 157,000 Serbs who had to leave Sarajevo. Nešić is aware that this is the biggest nonsense because citizens of Serbian nationality were not forced to leave the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among the ranks of the Army of RBiH, there were honorable Serb fighters who fiercely resisted the aggressor from the hills. Likewise, Nešić knows that Serbs did not leave Sarajevo because they were forced by the Army of RBiH or the authorities, but because they were well aware that if they stayed, they would, along with other residents, represent the most ordinary cannon fodder for the executioners from the VRS and JNA armies who, for three and a half years, sowed death from the surrounding hills with tanks, anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank guns, snipers, and whatever else.
Let Nešić tell us in which city in the smaller Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity tanks were dug in on the surrounding hills during the aggression and Army of RBiH snipers were installed, killing innocent Serb civilians?
Finally, a clear message for the minister who is not one: you and those like you definitely do not belong in multicultural Sarajevo. By the way, you haven't told us why you insidiously returned to the place of heinous crimes committed by those aggressors you swear by and praise to the heavens? We understand it very well - to collect exorbitant salaries from the BiH Parliament and the BiH Ministry of Security, while simultaneously implementing the anti-state and anti-constitutional ideas of your non-party boss Milorad Dodik.
For 1,425 days of the longest siege of a capital city known to the history of modern warfare, convicted war criminals, who are great heroes to you, Nenad Nešić, as well as numerous bloodthirsty individuals who have never been held accountable for their misdeeds, took the lives of 1,601 innocent children. A wink is enough for the wise, and for a fool... you usually have to draw it.
