SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Numerous people on social networks today commented on the sentencing of six political and military leaders of the so-called Herceg-Bosna, who were sentenced to 111 years in prison for a joint criminal enterprise.
- For Croatia, when The Hague acquitted Ante Gotovina, the court was objective, realistic, just, legitimate, and today, after the verdict against Prlić and others, it is not – wrote the famous Bosnian actor Nermin Tulić.
Many also commented on the suicide of the convicted HVO general Slobodan Praljak.
- Slobodan did not die, he died as a war criminal – believes Adis Karadža.
- I, Zlatko Blažević, a Croat from Bosnia, publicly distance myself from Dragan Čović's politics and support the court's verdict. I am probably not a real Croat – wrote Blažević.
Bosnian musician Muhamed Fazlagić said it was finally time for Croats to turn to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Prisoners!!! Joint criminal enterprise. Čović and those who vote for him and HDZ, it's time for Bosnia and Herzegovina – Fazlagić stated.
- Alongside European values, it's not bad to carry a bottle of poison with you – wrote Alen Mustafić.
Journalist and former prisoner in the Koštana hospital in Stolac, Amer Obradović, said that Praljak acted like a coward.
- People who were with me in the camp survived the most terrible torture, and none of them took their own lives. Camp survivors are brave people. And these "great commanders" and generals are just ordinary cowards – wrote Amer Obradović.
